I am enjoying Belle of the Ball by one of the illustrious authors here but I stopped at chapter 27. I came across a topic that states that chapter 28 is out in stardust but I couldn’t find it. This story is about how an heroine named Southern Belle overcame her difficulties in her gender and family. I will greatly appreciate if anybody could direct me to the more recent chapters.
Thank you.

E.E. stopped writing Belle of the Ball after chapter 29 if memory serves well. And yes, the latest two chapters were only available in Stardust AFAIK, and SD is currently offline. If E.E. does not have a problem, I can make those two chapters available, and perhaps someone with the necessary user rights can even put them in the Library.
Note: Belle of the Ball used a comic-book series metaphor for publishing -- chapters were allegedly "monthly issues", and every twelve issues there would be an "Annual." My personal reading copy has been consolidated into "trade paperbacks" containing a whole "year" plus the corresponding "annual" each, with minor editing on the end-of-chapter blurbs to account for it. (And, since I make e-book covers as a hobby, I did covers for Year 2 and Year 3 -- E.E. had an official cover for Year 1) So I no longer have the standalone chapters as originally posted. Perhaps someone else or E.E. has them.

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Well, gosh, Sir Lee, I'd like to see what YOU did with years two and three! I loved the cover you did for Debt of Conscience! Yes, chapter 29 was the final installment, and I have no issue with it being posted since Star Dust is off line, probably permanently. RIP Bob, we miss you!

As for the missing chapters, well, I'm attaching my reading copy of Year 3 (all 5 chapters of it) here.
There's also a movie script for "Belle of the Ball" on Stardust, but my copy is heavily edited to lessen the pain of reading monospaced scripts, so I'm not posting it at this time. If somebody else has a raw copy, it would probably be welcome.

Oh, and you must have been thinking of "The Untimely Frost". "Debt of Conscience" happens to be the one Erinyes story where I did NOT use the layout I posted to the forums (artwork by Ionen) -- because you had posted an official one.
