    • Just got started, after waiting a long time to get a copy, on Princess Holy Aura by Rick E. Spoor.

    A very Whateley type story. 35 year old man saves a child from some mythos monsters and is offered a job by a talking white rat, wearing a crown.

    If he takes the offer he will be given the power of Princess Holy Aura, and for the duration turn into a fourteen year old girl.

    The book is everything I could have imagined. If you enjoy Whately stories I highly recommend you check it out.

    • I've finished the book and the few lingering worries I had about it were eased.

    It could have been any first rate origin story set in the Whatley universe.

    I hit all the buttons and did a first rate job of creating a magical girl story that was done seriously and with love.
