Feel free to discuss any typical forums accepted topic here, Whateley or otherwise. Let's avoid the usual suspects: politics, religion, and so forth that tend to result in flame wars and angered forums readers. Other topics will be considered fair game unless they prove to be too volatile, at which point we'll use Devisor created anti-flame chemicals on the subject.

Well, it was a happy day for me. Mom got home from seeing her dad after he needed help for a while and we had a family dinner together. Happy May the 4th, everyone.
Thank You for story comments appreciated and help me know me they are being read and liked.

It was happy for me. Well, yesterday was happy, it kind of carried over. I have a job!
(Well, an internship. Either way, it's about bloody time)

I am a caffeine heathen; I prefer the waters of the mountain over the juice of the bean. Keep the Dews coming and no one will be hurt.

Happy (belated) Star Trek day; 50 years of Boldly Going where no man has gone before.

I believe both have their good and bad points. Only one is outnumbered by the other.

...Star Trek has 28 seasons of live-action TV under their belt in addition to the 12 movies already done, for a total of... something approaching 500 hours of entertainment. Let's be very conservative and say that only 10% of it is "great" and 40% is "good", with the other half going between "meh" and "bad"; the "great" part ALONE is more than the entire Star Wars saga.
Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.
