    • So in the midst of minor insanity, Having to move my fiance into my house because she got evicted, I get a phone call from one of my friends who tells me that my friend John is in the hospital... less than twenty minutes later my friend calls back... John died. He was 38.

    Right now it is almost 2300 where i am. I am more thanslightly drunk with tears slowly making their way down my cheeks...

    The apologyis for dumping this pain on you all... I know this isn't some thing you want or need and I am barely above a lurker...

    All I know right now is that I am really hurting right now ... One of the people I knew I could count om in my life is gone.

    I don't have an amusing anecdote to share... John was just a really good man. Even when he screwed up he kept trying to help his friends

    Why does it hurt so god damned much?!?

    Tomorrow I will pick myself up and go to work... and do my job. Right now.... I am going to drink a few more shots and try to numb this hole that is now in my life while I stare at my computer.

    Again I apologize for dumping this on you all. Sorry.

    • I'm really sorry to hear about that... I can't tell you anything that will make it feel better but it does get better with time.

    • My condolences. Be safe in the knowledge that he has passed on to whichever afterlife you or he believes in, or if you don't believe in an afterlife that the world is mostly a terrible place and he may well have been spared suffering here.
