Question changes-story zone

    • While it isn't complete because there are some things that I can't do using this tablet, I have switched the default landing of the Story zone link to be a blog style list of the most recent few stories. At the moment, this is only showing original timeline. Once finished, it should show the most recent releases... Like the top half of the Latest Articles list in the sidebar... No matter which category they are from.

    • It looks good, and I like it!

    I know that you're limited while you work from your tablet, but here are the things that I've noticed:

    If you go to the second page it changes from showing a few paragraphs with a "read more" button to showing entire stories (but still with multiples on a page), which I'm guessing wasn't intentional.

    Also, seeing multiple titles on the page at once makes it very noticeable when they don't have matching title fonts.

    • Ya, the read more thing does not work in the most desirable way... by just opening the full article. I'll have to experiment a bit to see if there is a trick to it that I am missing. And it is one more thing that we have to remember to put in... stories that are not given the read more code marker will show on that page in their entirety. So, like title format, it will probably be one more thing that I have to do personally, because everyone wants to dotheir own thing for format and font based on story as opposed to site consistency. El is getting closer... but some of these others..:whip:

    But I do want to get the blog layout working cleanly, because I'd like to set up fan fiction to work in a blog / article format too... pulling it out of the forums except as a workshop. And then we can handle the polished version publication using featuring or category transfer.

    • The new story section looks nice. I like it better than being static on one particular library entry.
