I am a caffeine heathen; I prefer the waters of the mountain over the juice of the bean. Keep the Dews coming and no one will be hurt.

I'm stuck on a bit of back story for a roommate for one of my main characters. I'm stuck between her being an m2f changeling who's still clinging to her old identity or "Opposite of Phase complicated.", With maybe an Omnisqeal type h thrown in.for "fun".
Haven't quite figured out the m2f back story but the idea for the second is "I disappointed my dad for being a girl, but not enough to completely give up being on" Ends up mostly looking like a guy..
Thoughts?

Deeps entirely on the powers, personality and problems of the POV character.
Just remember, they never put two tech heads in the same room.
Why?
Because if you put two gadgeteers in the same room, you have tool and project overload, as well as squabbling over who own either.
And if you put two devisors in the same room, you keep having to seal those frickin' rifts in the fabric of space/time

I was going to ask, so who is the Poe resident most likely to create a rift in space and time... Then I remembered that Tanyo has already created one. and Sara pretty well is a rift in space and time.

Ah, that is the rub: Who do you pair with a mimic?

Another mimic? That way they mimic the mimicking ability of each other.

How much do you like the student/dislike the rest of the floor?
An EX-2 or a Paragon should be fairly safe.
A PDP-6 (Hijacker II), WIZ-5 (Charmer), or one of the more exotic shifters, warpers, or energizers might make for more interesting times.
Rooming with an entity who's only manifesting as a human mutant could be enlightening.

Depends upon the mimic's triggers for activating their power, and how much control they have over the voluntary/involuntary shifting.
Setting a mimic to share a room with someone who's power they wouldn't want, would be one way of improving their control.
A nice example can be found in Mimeo's biography in the Gen1 time-line.
