I am a caffeine heathen; I prefer the waters of the mountain over the juice of the bean. Keep the Dews coming and no one will be hurt.

I was working one my notes on/for Home while watching Shannara Chjronicals and though Elcerys would be a good former school code name for a tree woman. Which is where I loose the train of though. With that code name it feels like she was a Goober as in the mythos of Shannara the Elcerys where elven women who gave their lives to hold together a spell that keeps demons at bay.
mm, one slight tangent thought: daughter, MJ, looks like Mary Jane Watson crossed with Poison Ivy, small Healiing gift, but reall power is to get people high.

I picture a woman with GSD that makes patches of her skin grow as bark, giving her some minor defensive protection. Perhaps a weakness that she can't stand barefoot on soil/grass/ground for too long, or she will root to the spot. when like that, she can draw nutrients from the soil to heal herself, but the longer she stays-the more rooted she becomes.

I was thinking: What if she's in the Avatar family, but traps multipal spirits, but doesn'y mush them into a Force, just stores them. likely with no bennies for having them in her.

maybe an avatar of the spirit of one of the world trees? Their catch-phrase could be : "Shut up, I am NOT AN ENT!"
