  • Ran across an interesting spirit type, and I want to include it in my story,: tsukumogami .

I am a caffeine heathen; I prefer the waters of the mountain over the juice of the bean. Keep the Dews coming and no one will be hurt.

  • Interesting approach towards mythology.

How would you interpret this when dealing with antique musical instruments?

I once had the opportunity to play music for an hour or so, using a Guarneri bow. Around 2 centuries old, and around £50K worth of financial value. Delightful to play with.

Or what about Robert Johnson's original guitar? :D

  • And then there's the whole thing about psychometry... like Ace of the Secret Squirrels being able to use the abilities of people who owned the tools he's using.

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

  • It's not surprising, all things considered, but xxxHolic has Mugetsu , a pipe fox spirit. In chapter 190 there is a shamisen that has lost its sound. The cat of the shamisen plays a song later on, in Chapter 202.

She would be where I got the idea.
