  • On paper mimics look good, but how they mimic plays a big role in that, and I have two ideas for mine.
Both ideas start with spirit, that allows for the mimic, ability sucking in the Soul Dandruff, or what ever you want to call it, that gets stuck to mirrors. It'what happens after Im stuck on.

Idea 1 is that the spirit allows the host to mimic the last powered being who's dandruff they sucked in perfectly, with in reason. Copy Imp they just get the regen and PK aura, maybe the faux Ex 2 strength rating if the kid keeps the regen long enough. Maybe the GSD as well, if kept to long. Looses the Imp package if she copirs Charge, becoming an Energizer. Not sure about his E#x rating, I got the impression that that was innate for him, and would only get Imp back by loosing Charger's pattern.

Idea 2 is that the spirit is a self generating Force. It sucks in Patterns and incorporate them into itself building in power. So the host could use Imp and Charger at the same time, at any time.Well they'd ave to get epeated doses of the patterns to build to Imp and Charger's levels... and I was thinking there is a duration limit/recharge period as well as the spirit wasn't really meant to do this kind of thing..

This also kind of applies to magic cast on the host: suck it in, can repeat it when ever, only until hit by another spell, or magic refects off and doesn't stick making the host kind of like Glyph. the Doesn't stick option would make them a potential threat to the Poe secret with the fidellis not taking hold...

So lots of ideas how, not sure whick to pick.

  • I have a few questions. Is this a conscious ability? That is, does ce have the ability to select what ce mimics, or is ce at the mercy of whatever mirror ce happened to see last?

Is this a one-time thing, or is the impression on the mirror permanent? That is, does using a mirror erase the top impression? If so, does it expose the prior impression?

What happens if ce is in a fight, and someone shows cim a mirror that was last looked into by, for example, Miasma?

Does breaking the mirror that held the currently mimicked power cause the power to dissipate?

Option 2 is simply going to be too powerful.

  • From bottom to top:

I was thinking that about 2 as well.

Hadn't worked out about broken mirrors.

Think of it like a static charge. Touching it discharges the stored patterns in one go, until some recharges it again.

If someone used a mirror against them they'd be stuck with that power.

50/50 the suck in is unconscious, mimicking is contentious. Not sure if they'll know what they have or not until they use them.

  • I forgot Miasma is an avatar, so I'm not sure yet what might happen with my avatar/mimic

Option 2 was my riffing on how I saw the spirit being created in the first place. Over a period of time soul dandruff piles up the something triggers a reaction and boom baby spirit.
