  • Good morning, everyone. I have migrated to the new site. And... er... I guess that's really all I have to say.

  • Heh, I suppose that's true. I was a bit too terse. I've been reading for a few years. I think I got routed here from TV Tropes, largely from a fair amount of people complaining that a few people were shoehorning Whateley Universe story references into every trope page without proper context. I've read a good chunk of the official stories (I never really got into Fey or Tennyo as characters, so I've largely skipped their arcs after the intro stories and the Kayda stories aren't my kettle of fish, possibly for the same reasons) and I followed a few of the fanfiction stories on the old site (I'm really glad that Domoivye is reposting his stories. I personally think that, with a little bit of proofreading, they'd fit in nicely with canon). I've never been a huge contributor — I think I wrote one entry for the drabble thread that was largely ignored and probably for good reason — but I've tried to provide helpful reviews on the stories without stepping on too many toes.

Personally, I enjoy the stories more for the superpower aspects than for the gender politics, but it's not enough to ruin the experience. I liken it to the situation with Robert Heinlein, David Weber, and John Norman where many people enjoy the books, but ignore the politics.

  • Hi, FuzzyBoots. Nice to see you over here. Fellow Atomic Think Tank/Roninarmy forum member, go by Psistrike there. And yeah, Domoviye's stories and characters feel like they could be inserted into the canon universe with very little changed.

Thank You for story comments appreciated and help me know me they are being read and liked. :-) Note: My story comments can't nor are trying to replace reading the stories, simply my way of enjoying them and letting the authors know I enjoy them.
