    • Considering that most of the long term forum members have seen me, yelled at me, or agreed with me, an introduction is probably not absolutely necessary - but I digress.

    I'm in Houston, and I've been reading strange stories for nigh on 25 years, since early Jack Chalker. I'm here sometimes for days and weeks on end, then I'll go silent for a few months. Mostly because of my schedule, sometimes because I don't want the drama.

    Still, I'm harder to get rid of than people think.

    Just think of me like that strange uncle that shows up to family events, sits on the corner, and watches. The one that nobody really likes, but nobody can come up with a reason to get rid of. :) (Either that, or BO)

    Welcome back, chair in that corner is most comfortable, the "women" are arguing in the kitchen and the "men" have decided that they'll stake out the BBQ and attached fridge, three for their important discussions.

    • Welcome back stranger, whoever you are. Leave the mask on the table as we round up some vittles to quench the hunger. You'll have to bring your own drink as we don't server that beverage here.

    Watch the fire, if it gets low, put another log on would you? Thats a nice fella.

    Now before you speak be sure to note the rules in the place. We do have a set of standards we adhere to.... at our wont. And don't be afraid to stomp on those that get out of line. As for me I just draw one here and step back.

    Name Yousminite Yousimite Sam(my) and thats my furry varmint in the corner roasting the duck. *tosses another log on the fire raising it several degrees.

    • A Bookworm! Nice to meet you, just please no eating of the books around here. This is for our benefit as well as for your own safety. Some of the books around here have Class X stuff in them, reading them can drive you insane, I don't want to think of what eating them will do. :blink:
