Hi! (^w^)
I've started reading Whateley a couple of months ago, but up until now I had been too intimidated to join the forum. The shared universe inspired me to write a little bit here and there, and what have you, it's starting to look like a nice pile of words, so I thought it would be time to take the plunge and join. Whateley is so big, with so many stories and intricacies, it's a delicacy to read, but at the same time I admit to be a little scared to wet my feet and post a story. I have not written in a while, that's all.
Pleased meet you all, and let's get along!

I'll answer your PM and welcome you at the same time... authorization for access to the author's group is active, there's a great guide written by Phoenix-Spiritus as a walk through of how to handle the site's CMS (content management system) to get things loaded to the site, meet our basic standards, and get some feedback going from other WhatIF authors, editors and support folks. You'll find it as the default page under that new button on your menu in the upper right named "Authors" that you have now.
Be sure to take some time and get feedback and make sure you're ready for a public release before you go to public release. You CAN do edits and clean up work after... but you don't want to have to be in that position.

Thanks for the authorization, and for the tip.
I found the publishing guide and am looking over it. Thanks for pointing it out! I will make sure to reign my enthusiasm in when it comes to the editing and publishing process, and give it the time it needs to avoid common and embarrassing mistakes.
