Hello folks, and thanks for the admittance
Though it says so in my username, I am not a great dingo. That bit is a lie. I am the greatest of dingos. That's right.
I've been reading some of your stories and found them to be quite enjoyable. I figured that since I'm supposed to write more (long story, don't ask) I'd contribute with a spot of fanfiction here and there I guess. And after hunting this site down like a predator, because I had no idea what was going on with your old site (I do now), I figured I'd also register.
So again, hello.
And also, a bit of complaining (not really, it's totally awesome) I had figured that I'd set such fiction 10 years after the fact and then I come here and find that you have a 2nd generation to be set in that time period as well. Well, gosh darnit.
In any case, say hello to the little fellows my diseased mind has come up with: Starlight, Ender, Dice, DEM and Sparrow (so far)
If any of these names conflict with any existing characters (perusal of the wiki suggests they don't, but can't be sure) then let me know and I'll definitely change it
And again, thanks for having me!

Welcome Mr. Dingo. Um you said we could have you. Not sure how. Under glass, BBQ'd or just fried hard. Not sure. Will have to ask others for their opinion. Be aware that Kristin will want to talk to you. Not sure why, but I'm just doing a precog mission here in what she'd ask you about as she sets you up on where to post your attention winning stories for consideration into the world of Whateley.
Don't ask What, just accept that eley will be forthcoming.
So enjoy, look things over, kick the pixels for a tryout, just not the pixies and enjoy.

Thanks folks.
And no, that was rhetorical, you can't barbeque me (well, you really shouldn't, because I'm totally rotten to the core)
Regards to your weird prophecieBURNTHEWITCH...Uh, I wonder where that came from...? In any case, there's no rush, I won't be satisfied for quite a while, I just figured I'd throw it out there.

I am wondering, though, what those blue dots under my username mean?

umm nothing, nothing. Just droppings. *waves hand in front of face* You don't see no blue dots, these are not the dots you seek.
Actually it represents the number of posts you have done in the forums as in participation. The higher the number the more ranking status is given. I understand when you achieve the highest award you are given the privilege of starting over again.
You start off with 0-40, 41-100, 101 - 250 and so forth. Calculations is (40 * 2.5= 100, 100 * 2.5) and so forth, if I remember. It will take some time to achieve the highest possible ranking from what Kristin says.

Okay, cool. I figured it was something like that, but I wasn't really sure. I used to be a member of another forum where it meant something entirely different.
Anyhoo, cool.

Welcome! Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it, and even if you don't. As one of those people who has taken it upon themselves to actually edit the demented scribblings of our various fringe mad prophets, let me be the first to say... it might take awhile for us to get to you on that front.

You mean you edit stories? Cool, but like I said, there's no rush. But I'll be happy to accept whatever input and criticism people might have.

Well a few of us do. I have recently taken it upon myself to join their ranks, in between writing my own.

Just a couple questions, Great Dingo:
Is it true that you work as Chairman of the FCC?
And that your real name is, in fact, Tom Wheeler?

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Speak not the name of Tom Dingo Wheeler, lest you attract its attention.
No, the main difference between He Who Shall Not Be Named and myself is that I happy admit I'm a Dingo.
