Question A centaur lands

    • I suppose I might as well join the band wagon and introduce myself.

    The handle I have elected to use for myself is 'Centaur Prime'. I first used this in a (now defunct) web community built around free-form forum-based RP. I found my way to the Whateley Universe following the stories of a fanfic author (Xaltatun of Acheron), and was hooked by the mixing of mutant powers and magic. The incident that pulled me out of lurkerdom was the forum crash before the changeover adventure. My plan had been to offer assistance with troubleshooting the source of the forum crash, but I hadn't gotten around to when the last big crash occurred. I tried to help out a little with the OCPortal incarnation of the community, but have mostly been running in the background trying to come up with a way to extract content from the old forums.

    In addition to having a background in the IT field, I am also a bit of a hack writer. I've got one Whateleyverse story in-flight, and two more dancing around in my head. The in-flight story put in appearance on the OCPortal incarnation, and likely will reemerge here in the near future.

    • Darn, I remember reading that fanfic on the ocPortal forum but can't recall what it was about now. :blink: Can't wait to read it again and any future fanfics you release. And your name has me thinking of a robotic centaur that is a cross between Optimus Prime and a centaur, including the color scheme.

    • Defunct free from.... Zen-Dao Meow, right? I was on there too, Though I haven't had my character from there in my headspace in quite some time.

    • Blue Moose got the site in one. My avatar on that site was something I called a theataur, which is an owl winged gecko 'taur with the upper torso of a bat and the head of an owl. In Whateley terms, a major GSD case.
