Many people hear voices when no-one is there.
Some are called 'mad' and shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day.
Others are called 'writers' and they do pretty much the same thing.

Hello;
Well it's been awhile since I've last been here and posting, so here I am.
Hmm I started reading Whatley when it was back on Sapphire's site, and feel in love with the universe. I went away for awhile but just to come back, trying to get back to speed and it's a slow slog, but very enjoyable. Currently fav is 'Whisper'.
Anyways before I get all fan crazy and gushing over the authors I'll say 'cya later'.
PS if you really want to get my inner rabid fan going again could someone prod Bek to finish 'Foxglove' and 'Lady Lightning'

Well welcome back. Why'd you leave so early? The fun is just starting and to leave so early you'll miss out on all the fun.
Archangel? No where have I read that name before. *smacks forehead* Don't worry it'll come back to me -someday.
And about that crazy gushing moment, don't waste it. There are many authors, like Sleethr, Elrod, E.E. umm Bek perhaps? who would just love for you to give them heaps of praise as well as a few thank-you's and such. Nothing elaborate I'm sure, just a few tossed 'welldones' as with kudo's of how well you like their work.
And if you check the 2nd gen notes under the Content link, maybe Bek will answer that Christmas wish list. Who knows. Well Bek does as with perhaps Kristen (the teaser).
Anyways, well, don't stray too far away else you might miss something happening.

He used to run a CIA division named "The Firm", back in the Eighties. Easy to recognize for always dressing in white and, after that unfortunate incident with Moffet, the eyepatch and the cane.
Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

Sir Lee your age is showing with an Airwolf reference. Come to think about so is mine by recognizing it.
I was back on the forms, umm, awhile ago. I had a few chats with Babs in the forms about Jade and the politics of running a country as a villain. Got a new job in RL that had me staring at computer all day so I had NO interest in staring at one at home, then some health issues sidetracked me even more. Fast forward a bit and I wandered back to Whately I tried to catch up with all I missed, wondered where some of my fav authors had gotten to, then saw that Morpheus had joined the Cannon Cabal and signed up and here I am.
Like Micheal Corleone just I keep getting pulled back.
At least that is what I'll admit in public.

Even the Canon stories have regular antiquated references, not even hidden references. Airwolf, Banana Splits and Danger Island are younger than the common I Dream of Jeannie reference.

How so? I Dream of Jeanie was from 1965-1970. Airwolf was from 1984-1986 and Banana Splits was from 1968-1970. I used Danger Island as the ref to Jan-Michael Vincent. Granted Banana Splits and I Dream of Jeanie could theoretically be from the same time but its clearly I Dream of Jeanie that premiered first.

Banana Splits is 3 years younger.
what is sad isn't the references and the age of them, but that we REMEMBER watching them and will argue over them.
