Question Greetings from Memphis, TN.

Well, it seems that I've waited long enough to do this, so I guess I'll go ahead and get it over with.

Greetings, fellow denizens of the Whateley Academy Universe.

I've been hanging out around the old Crystal Hall forums for almost exactly a year now, throwing in my comments and feedback fairly regularly. I've enjoyed working/interacting with several of the fanfic authors the most, and have contributed to a few tales by way of collaboration, though the time constraints of other activities have kept me from contributing much of my own up to this point.

Now that we've got this new Crystal Hall up and running, I'm looking forward to participating in the community again as much as ever, though it seems I might be hard pressed trying to keep up with a couple of our former lurkers. (Yes, I'm talking about you, Ibi and Dreamer!)

I guess that's probably enough about me for now. Don't want to give away too many of my secrets...

Hi, NeoMagus. And you don't have to keep up, contribute what you feel like. Mostly it is just the excitement of being able to participate that has me so active and trying to come out of my shell. Probably wind down once I've settled in here.

Actually, you can ask in a private message. Up at the top of the screen you should see a tab that says "Mail". Click on that and it will take you to your mailbox, where you can hit "Compose" to write private messages. The only odd part about it is that it seems you have to type the recipient's name manually. There doesn't seem to be a way to just click a link and send a PM directly.

Click the "More" button underneath a person's profile picture. One of the buttons is a speech bubble. Clicking on that speech bubble brings up the PM page with their name inserted already.

Here's a token that will allow you entrance into the guest areas of Heimhallr, my lodge and homestead hidden deep in the fjords of Rurik's Range, where I do most of my creative work. Unfortunately at the moment it's just a piece of land with a single tent of caribou hide, so I'm afraid you won't find much comfort there for a while yet.

True enough about the llamas, that's part of why I didn't care to keep it.

And don't worry too much about posting so much, as long as it doesn't get inappropriate. I'm actually having fun with this banter, and it does at least show whoever might be reading it that some of us have a sense of humor.

Unlike certain people and their vile fascination with puns involving a certain three letter word that also happens to the name of a particular character in this universe. (Glares sternly at the readers.) Yes, you all know who you are! I'll have none of that nonsense here!
