It's raining cats and dogs. And mutant fish.

Taxes done for another year. Next year will hopefully be simpler, now that we're using Patreon instead of Google ad revenue for site support. Nothing quite like having to pay income tax on ad revenue that mostly goes directly to server hosting fees. The obnoxious part of it is that any of the 'free' online tax services... the moment you toss a 1099 into the pile, it goes from being a 'free' filing to $100 or more for self-employed filing. I managed to balance out pretty well this year. I may have ended up paying more for filing this year, but I balanced my payroll deductions better. I'm actually getting a small return from both federal and state... though combined it will come about thirty dollars short of the fees to file. Close enough, I guess.
How about the rest of you? Filed? Extended? Getting a return or not?
We have some new content for you tonight. It's a new piece, set in the first year of the 2nd Gen timeline but off campus... and its called "Evil Genius." Besides showing what a certain young Fixer from the original timeline is getting in to now that she's an adult... you get a look at some of the options that are available for mutants who don't luck out by hearing about and being able to afford Whateley. Enjoy!
