  • Ingredients:
    1 lb ground beef
a dash of Authentic Cajun hot sauce (probably Cayenne pepper sauce I didn't check the ingredients)
6 oz. hot salsa (guessed at this)
1 15 oz. can of whole pinto beans
1 15 oz. can of kidney beans
1 15 oz can of stewed tomatoes
    a dash of salt.

Brown ground beef in wok, when about half done dash the hot sauce in to spice the meat.
Continue to cook over low flame until you can smell the hot sauce, then add the salsa (Note: I used a very thick salsa that had almost no juice) cook for another 4-5 minutes over low flame, then add stewed tomatoes (rinse can and add the water to your mixture). Let continue to simmer over low heat to reduce liquid. Caution! If doing this over a flame at about this point the mixture wants to start sticking, even to Teflon! Allow as much time as you have patience for for the flavors to meld at this point. When you are satisfied with the flavor of the base then add the cans of beans. You can either spoon them out as they will be settled at the bottom or rinse them out and add the extra liquid (I did this) to your chili.
At this point you can continue to simmer and stir your chili until you are ready to eat it. It will definitely stick at this point so no more than 1-2 minutes away from stirring if cooking over a flame.
Other notes: I did the entirety of this over a low flame in about 30 minutes. For an electric cook top you would probably use a different strategy!
Scoop out a bowl full add a little shredded cheddar cheese and crushed (not finely) corn chips... YUM!
Note be careful of the hot sauce unless you want flamin' hot chili! Mine ended up pretty much at that level!
