  • So, 20 or so years on from the events of G1, it's possible some of the cohort will have married and had children in the intervening years, some of whom will be reaching 14 years old and could very well be mutants themselves - and not just the Cody Twins!

While powersets aren't necessarily inherited, it may be a useful assumption for some silly speculation about who'll have married whom, what their children's powersets may be, and what their characters would be like.

Let's start off with Bio-Regenetics finding some means of helping its founder's wife have genetic children with its founder. If the children turn out anything like their mother (or should that be mothers, if a certain "sibling" of the founder's wife is still around?), any staff still remaining from G1 may consider retiring before that academic year starts if they're to avoid the prank war to end all prank wars...

As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!

  • You are forgetting that at some point two regen clones of Jade will be showing up.

  • Gen 3 is currently penciled in as a move in the sci-fi direction. Earth will have moved into intrastellar space, heavily developing the asteroid belt and moons for industrial development, with numerous FTL exploratory projects in their early stages. All this poking around outside of our solar system will alert our neighbors in this arm of the galaxy of a new player and Earth will be invaded... mostly by an alien species known for their tribal/clan behavior and war/combat based honor system.

While fairly strong physically, the continued growth of the mutant population and the commercialization of power armor has resulted in making Earth a very popular place for young clan members to raid to test themselves. Truthfully, most of them get their asses handed to them... but it has yet to escalate to the scale that the leading clans and their famous champions have been drawn into the fight. Because our FTL is still mostly in the hands of private developers and inventors (many of whom are Gadgeteers), Earth governments don't have ships to take the fight out of the Sol system. Several nations, however, do have near Earth and central system sublight and skip-drive fleets with fairly strong armaments. Enough so that only about one in three raiding forces even get to the planet to land. Only a few of managed to cause any damage of note... our own supervillains tend to be worse.

Oh wait... you said speculate... hmm... I could make something crazier up... or I could let you speculate on the Gen 3 foundation and see what you come up with.... ;)

  • And here I was hoping that the Moon would be thrown out into interstellar space visiting a new planet every week...

That planet sailed back in 1999. So it's Lost in Space never to be Quantum Leaped or Star Treked as we Voyage to the great beyond of a Galaxy far far away as Star Wars fill your minds of where The Empire Strikes Back.

So Peace, Love and 3 cans of coke away.

What is - was. What was - is.

  • It occurs to me, with the way that the Imperial Parental Unit is pushing the betrothal, he is also likely to push the actual wedding and production of an heir in a similar way.

Yes, Jobe's child could be Gen 3, with an outside chance of one of the other Drow offpring too.

    You want really freaky.
Jade's demon baby from Sit In could be a senior

  • The succession must be secured! Therefore Jobe must produce an heir. Otherwise all the other Wilkins will start maneuvering to remove her from the succession. Not that producing an heir will entirely eliminate that problem but at least it eases the pressure to a degree.

Don't forget Alhaji, it's possible he will also be a regen clone of Jade.

The Whateley Universe has a potential future where regen Clones of Jade are so numerous that a dedicated 24-hour Hello Kitty tv Channel is the most profitable media franchise on the planet.

Also, there are international treaties specifically prohibiting Jade retro-clones from being deployed in armed conflict. Doing so is considered as somewhat more serious than a nuclear strike. Karedonia and Wallachia are both signatories to these treaties.

  • Mom, why do so many of my classmates look like me... And why are you younger than me?

(This is assuming she doesn't keep track of her regen clones.)

Meanwhile, Fey's daughter is struggling to live up to her mother's expectations. She's made close friends with a Drow girl who claims to be in similar circumstances, but she'd never admit to her mother that was friends with a Drow.

Stepping back to look at the older folks, Phase have partnered up with Hershey and has helped Tennyo accelerate progress in space travel. Hershey has witnessed a massive boost in sales after being prompted to export to the galactic community.

Insanity: for when normal just isn't interesting enough.
