This is for my "non-canon unashamedly self-insert Mary-so-sue-me Whateley Academy tale", Parallels.
Table of contents, this will be updated as I add parts:
Please feel free to give any critique, feedback, feelings, fan-thoughts, not-a-fan thoughts...

Isn't that usually the order of the day until a project gets more engagement?
I've only read part of the way through, so, yeah.

When I say "silence", I'm meaning, looking down the posts and it's 0 replies, 0 replies... and not just for mine so it looks like nobody replies there? I'm new enough here I don't know the conventions of what goes where.

I wouldn't say it's zero replies down the line:
At the moment, we have "Total users online: 10 Members and 866 Guests Online"
Many of those Guests might be search engines, but they're all readers who don't have an account and can't post responses even if they read anything other than the latest canon story. There's no way of knowing how many of those real person guests can't afford for anyone to find out they have an account on a TG fiction site.
"The Misfits" and "If I Had A Hammer" usually averaged 100-200 views per weekly update when they were active.

There are no replies there because there's a box at the top of the page that reads:
"Posting rules: Only the AUTHOR of a given story project is permitted to post here."
Edit: So if there's only one part posted, there should be no replies.

Ya, I finally figured that.
There's enough ambiguity between "only the author is allowed to make a top level post" and "only the author is allowed to post or reply to a post" that I misread it as the former to begin with.

So, reposting my spec:
Lucky for Parallel, getting caught and contained by the one entity that'd do it well, etc.
Expecting more AU people shot in to try and mess things up.
This is apparently not a Merchant-based story, 'cause, well, no Merchant.
Malady wrote: Ah! Interesting.
Betting she's dumped in 'cause some Alien Space Bat wants to mess with the Whateleyverse.
Or you just want a personal SI Slice of Life Fanfic.
Either or.

It isn't her only bit of implausible luck. She gets burn out in a world that doesn't support the existence of mutants, and teleports across realities to one that does, to the one place where her abilities could be nurtured, to a point in the timeline she knows, into a snowdrift that will slow her explosive fever to something regeneration can remake into a body that suits her and will fit in at the school, smack dab into the path of Sara out on a nocturnal wander.
Admittedly this is her luck power running at a high scream in unusual circumstances.
The story is based on what I've read so far, original canon gen 1 up to about Easter. But suggestions for influences to merge in will be gratefully considered

Wow, that's a lotta luck. Usually that leads to a bad luck backlash after, but maybe her luck tank is really big.
Or taking some from her parallels.
Had thoughts of one trying to kill her to stop the bad luck.

Well, she did get dead. (She got better.)
Also dropped into the shark tank a bit due to very explosive information. But there may be more backlash.
Her parallels are unrealised possibilities, not actual sapient persons so they aren't quite that independent.

Part four has landed!
This is a calmer, gentler one, although I plan more havoc and hotness in the future.
Despite feeling personally heartbroken by developments over in Britain, this story is my lifeline of joyful escape into a nicer world.
Onward and upward!

Random fact: I seem to be cutting about 3000 words in about 3 days each part. Which means, around 1000 per day. Which is good enough to be An Actual Writer.
Whee. I hadn't realized that. That opens possibilities.
