    • This is seriously good. It's really cool to see stories where the focus is on characters who aren't the stereotypical exemplar/baseline human sort. Hope you keep writing!

    • Don't worry, I'm still writing. There's adventures yet to go through before we hit Whateley campus. I write slowly because the creative juices seem to hit at like 1:30 to 2am. :lol:

    • Oh, Gulik isn't just a cockroach. He is the Cockroach. Eris wasn't the only entity that decided to accept the offered vibes and adapt to a new mythology.

    Also, RETCON TIME! Went back and weirded up River's hands, basically made the last finger opposable as well, so each hand has two fingers and two thumbs. Also, each of the two tail tips has a small claw in it as well. These things happen, as I've said, I consider the story in its current form here to be in a pre-release state.

    • So there's going to be an error now in chapter five for purely technical reasons due to the fact that I chose brackets for the alien language. Apparently, beginning the sentence with "I'm" and putting it in brackets caused the forum code to treat the entire sentence as an opening italics tag. So the sentence will be closed with a | in the version posted here. It was definitely the word "I'm" that was the problem because removing the ' from the word fixed the error. Bless glitches and Hail Eris.
