To be honest, it's all over the place. In some places it's part of Health Class, in some places it's in Science Class, in some places it's in Civic Affairs, and in some places it's banned from schools. There's even a loud schism in Humanity First!, with one faction saying 'we have a right to know what we're dealing with', while the other faction says that teaching about mutant traits in school is 'Normalizing the Deviant'.

Hmm it would be funny if someone successfully managed to turn a would be linching into a bar-fight/brawl with that bit of knowledge, how they could pull that off, I have no idea, unless they weren't the target, that is, and it would only be likely to work where the local H1 cell has people from both where its banned and where it isn't, or where putting up or removing the ban is being talked about....
