Gnostisophism. Introduced by Silver Linings 2... What is it? Apparently it's made up for Whateley...
Combo of Gnosis and Sophism?
Knowledge / Insight + Wisdom? Very vague?
Too vague for me to speculate... In the possible absence of any canon answers, presuming that it might be spoilery... Anyone willing to guess?

I am a caffeine heathen; I prefer the waters of the mountain over the juice of the bean. Keep the Dews coming and no one will be hurt.

It's a real religion that I wanna say for the most part has faded to the background of global worship. Mostly deals with the Gnostic Gospels, the "lost books for the bible" and what not. I don't know much more then that.

Not "lost books", but books not deemed "canon" by the Christian Church.
There was always more "books" and gospels then those in the bible, some of them with quite large groups of supporters who believed in them. The books in the bible are (to greater or lesser extents) the ones the Jews, Orthodox Christians (including the Catholics) and Protestant Christians agree are inspired by God and contain his true teachings.
(Note, from an Orthodox / Catholic perspective, things in the Old Testament don't have to be 100% true, just "inspired by God and contain his teachings". The books of the Gospel are, of course, true depictions of history
)
Gnostics probably believe that the early Christian church got it wrong, and they believe that their books are just as valid as any in the Bible.

You were thinking of Gnosticism, Crypto. Gnositisophy is a slam against Theosophy, Eckankar, Scientology, and any of hundreds of lesser known, less successful cynical crimes against geniune Spirituality.
Or, as I've said on occasion, 'I regard any Religion or Philosophy that has secret masters some place really hard to get to as a Scam until proven otherwise'.
