Which are different from the Conscientious Objectors (Those who opt out of Combat Finals)?
How do you get labeled a Pacifist? Can you just go and request an armband?? ... Wonders what happens if you counterfeit an armband.

Essentially, yes, you just go and sign up for it. But you probably have to convince someone (your counselor, maybe) that you are sincere in your commitment to non-violence. If you get caught bullying people and shielding behind a "pacifist" armband... well, not only you would lose the armband protection, but there would probably be serious punishment. I doubt that a verbal bully like Erlenmeyer would qualify for it, for instance.

But basically it's not just that you do not want to fight, it's that you really will not fight no matter what provocation. Also, they don't get out of the combat requirements, just that they will do Survival, and they will have a Combat Final emphasising escape and evade, rather then fighting.

I think that's the Objectors,
Ah. Ayla and the Mad Scientist Chapter 12.
I said, “Just look it up in your handbook. A note from one or more parents, or your sponsors, or even from Admin will do. Traditionally, the Alphas have used an excuse from Admin to duck out whenever they wanted to skip out on a tough battle. Religious grounds, but you have to prove it. Conscientious objector, but you have to prove that, and if you ever punched anybody on campus they won’t buy it. Section 33’s and Thornies and disabled students can get out just by asking. There are lots of ways out of it.”
Pacifists might be different from Objectors... But, Jade's a flipper, so maybe she does obey the Pacifist / Objector standards while she's got their armband.
And I guess the Pacifist List is officially called the "UV Protected Roles" as said in A Single Fold ...
The Underdogs are mentioned with Armbands in Ayla and the New School .
Instead, she diverted the discussion and asked me if I wanted armband protection.
I declined, “No thank you, ma’am. As far as I can tell, the Underdogs and the other kids wearing those armbands seem to get picked on just as much as they did before they started wearing the armbands. I think that my powers are well suited to avoidance, and self-defense when necessary. I believe that I’m doing just fine.”
...
She harrumphed, “Then you should get one of the armbands, like the Underdogs wear around campus.”
But as the wiki says, we've never hear of them wearing them? However, that was an early story. Or I guess it's there and just unmentioned?

Oh, and the Ayla story is talking about combat sims, not combat finals (the combat sims are the mandatory team simulations the Juniors and Seniors do).
I don't think there is any way out of the mandatory combat training or finals, other then doing the 'Survival' track an evasion final.

If I remember, he accidentally used it against a friend after he manifested. And she used it against Asmon Diaz, when he tried to rape her.
