  • The reason meat, especially red meat tastes bleh to Sidhe...
Red meat is high in iron! Blood contains iron.

We've seen Fey eat one of Ayla's salads that had bacon in it (though she did kinda pick around the bacon), and shrimp and fish are canon okays, thanks to Whisper...

    so it's evil Iron!

  • My thought is that too much iron causes their magic to ground out and causes burns, the I remember their hemoglobin is silver possibly saturated with Mana.

In the end reality is only consensual! It means that Al Gore is causing "Global Warming" by his rhetoric alone! Fortunately, there are enough Global Warming "Deniers" still about to keep him from boiling the planet.

  • No vampires in the whatlyverse. At least no traditional vampires. They couldn't compete with the things in the woods.
Also silver blood is probably not silver as in the metal but silver as in the color.
There are stories IRL about consuming mercury would impart immortality. That could be the recessional the authors decided on that.

I seem to remember in one of the Petra stories that one of the Knights was having trouble with vampires, and thus couldn't aid in the Papal protection.

  • Vampires... exist. A great many different kinds.

Dresden verse has 4 different kinds of Vampires, plus a number of other creature vaguely similar.

WU has over a score of different "vampires" and then some.

  • Yes there are, it's just that Vamp isn't a vampire and CeeCee should not drive a stake through her heart.

That's what makes Sidhe such a great basic resource for the production of (alchemical) bloodsilver.

And why Fey can't have a hot dog when she goes to a Royals game over the summer break.

If she did, she didn't have a hot dog.

  • Fey is why the bluejay's outfield missed that big catch that cost them a crucial game during the Penant in 2015. My brain refuses to remember which game, and I can't find my book on the subject (I have one of the collectible books of all the articles about the royals 2015 post season).

The outfielder was suddenly and accidentally distracted by this insanely hot redhead in the stands and he lost track of the ball. Totally an accident. She certainly would never cause anything like that on purpose. Ever.

Such a scenario is more plausible if Fey had a hot dog.
