Question Gargoyles

Demona has been on my mind for some reason, and as the WU is a kitchen sink world, does that mean that possibly in the shadows pre-sundering/being reborn ala the sidhe method lurk beings that are glose to what the show depicted?

Well considering Demona was a construct made by Thuban...I'd say she's a 1 time deal.

Somewhere in the Student Handbook there is probably a note reminding students to leave their pet shantaks at home because it isn't certain how "tame" the nightgaunts truly are. Who tamed them and to what fell purpose that was done are also good questions.

Demona, exTool, isn't a Gargoyle. She is a mutant shifter with two forms, one of which looks like a gargoyle.


IIRC No pets on campus. Familiars are an exception.

I think you are right about no pets, this is talked about in one of the Jade stories, and in the one about timeless(?)

I know Demona's origin, she was just the spring board my Muse leaped from to gt to the real gargs topic.

Sure, it's possible. Just like the Sidhe there may be other races hidden under the surface of humanity... or hidden away from them.

I believe she did. they are either bound in stone or pretending to be statues.

I doubt they are bound in stone, because I seem to remember various reactions both to them, and from them, at least moving eyes or head to follow a new student entering. They may be under a geas to guard the gates of DOOOOOOOOM!!!!!, uh Whateley Academy.
