Question Poll for Team Kimba

Let's have a fun poll.

Who do you think would be the first (within Team Kimba) to find out that Hekate is not dead but within Whateley academy? Why do you think this character would be the first to realise it?

Ayla.

You would think "No, Fey being the ridiculous-level mage should eventually detect her" or "Jade can be any speck of grit on campus and might see her doing something hinky", but no. Because TWFKAH is watching out for them.

Ayla has the intelligence network and the obsessive analytical mindset to notice the clues.

By the way, how many people already know that TWFKAH is not dead? Carson was not fooled, and she informed a few.

The question is: Did Carson inform Fey of her opinion that TWFKAH had in fact not been caught by that curse? Or is Fey still believing that she cursed TWFKAH to death? If Carson didn't inform Fey, then I go with Sir Lee's analysis, if Carson even let slip the slightest hint that she believes that TWFKAH managed to not be killed by Fey, then I would say that Fey might spot her first, because proactive paranoia, not on an Ayla level but probably enough to spot an enemy known to have tried to enslave you!

Honestly? I think it would be Jade herself.

There have been a handful of hints of who The Witch is hiding as. There's a good chance it could be someone Jade would want to approach as someone who might be interested in Wondercute, but would be actively avoiding Jade in particular.

Quite a number of people know what Fey is truly capable of, but very few have witnessed Jade's rather scary true capabilities first hand.

All I can think is that if Jade spots TWFKAH there will be blood! I can see Jade spotting her by accident, just because Jade has so many instances of herself around at times. Also her 'astral' instances are able to see magic being performed. I would almost bet that if TWFKAH is using magic in any way to disguise herself and is not on the magic track, Jade will spot her.
I also give about 75% chance that somehow some way Kayda will spot her... Maybe spot smell her spoor on Danny, or Tonka Trucka will do for her...

Active avoidance would be too much of a giveaway. If she's accumulating and storing essence for future use, it would make sense for her to not to want Gateway coming back to her room to watch magical girl anime without having a chance to tidy up first.

Kayda didn't arrive at Whateley until March 2007. Hekate, as Kallista, left in December 2006. Why would you think either Kayda or Tatanka will recognize anyone's physical smell or magical signature as that person's?

TWFKAH has made an interesting choice toward unmasking her Master without becoming directly involved, but that's about it.

I agree, Jade and Wondercute would have to approach her first. I'm suggesting that she is subconsciously avoiding Jade because Jade scares her.

I remember her specifically mentioning not wanting to get involved with Fey, but I don't remember which story that was in to check if she also mentioned Jade.

Jade might notice if she does try to recruit her. Jade has casually remarked when students avoid her for purely innocent reasons when she's recruiting.

I also felt that Jade would be the first one to find the presence of TWKAH. She is the strategist for Wondercute. She has a lot of selves that she could gather information.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Mrs. Carson wouldn't be wanting to tell Fey that Hekate is alive because she is afraid of retaliation from Team Kimba. I remember that in the conversation of Mrs. Carson and Twyr that Mrs. Carson don't want to let Team Kimba know that Hekate is actually alive.

There's a huge difference between noticing that a student at Whateley is being weird, and realizing that they are a specific person you believe to be dead who has scrubbed their identity with hardcore magic.

I don't think anyone in TK is going to figure it out before she's unmasked. If she ever gets unmasked. She could end up dead or mind controlled without the good guys ever realizing she was there.

Let's see.

Tennyo. Can sense GOO stuff, eats it. Is really, really powerful. Both Hekate, and her master will avoid her.

Fey. Beat Hekate once. Beat the Necromancer a couple of times. Hekate hates her, and will avoid her.

Chaka. Does all sorts of weird Ki stuff, probably can see magic being cast.

Phase. Can see magic, is learning magic, mentored by Circe, has an intelligence network second only to the Vatican.

Generator. Sees magic as the J-Team, has members of the J-Team flitting all over campus, hears, sees, and finds out lots. Hekate hates her possibly more than she hates Fey.

Lancer. PK Superboy. No special senses, vulnerable to Psi. Can be fairly oblivious.

Lancer have an obvious advantage to the others. He has an active author. Authors are known to weave together coincidences that make probability manglers look pale.
