Entertainment comparison 'tween Whateley-verse & RL?
We've had some chat about how comics differ...
How about other 'recent' things?
Mainly, I'm thinking about PMMM, 'cause it uses magic to counter entropy, but in the Whateley-verse, superpowers seem to work against thermodynamics, countering entropy... So, how is PMMM changed in the Whateley-verse?

Thank You for story comments appreciated and help me know me they are being read and liked.
Note: My story comments can't nor are trying to replace reading the stories, simply my way of enjoying them and letting the authors know I enjoy them.

Don't let Team Wondercute watch it! They might start not trusting any of the newer magical girl series after that to not have a twist on the genre.

Also, Dresden Files... How that'd work, I don't know.
... Could be like Worm, where comics didn't take off and stuff...

Well, Harry Potter still exists, somehow, Mugwump, and Ayla talking about Horcruxes with Aquerna means that that's a plot point in the books, and that Ayla read them?
I guess mages and magic aren't popular enough to change Harry Potter that much.
What about the Satanic Panics... Were those rumors true in the Whateley-verse?
So yeah. ... Speculation's fine...

Well, Malady, yes there was a Satanic Panic in the Whateley U, as was mentioned in 'Razzle Dazzle', but it was a cunning ploy by Mephisto to counter moves by the Great Hall of Sinister Wisdom to 'adopt' kids through blinds for human sacrifice.
Of course, it can be said that people in the Whateley Universe actually have more cause to be worried, and the whole thing was stage managed by a master of button pushing. IRL, all it took was a couple of press announcements by an ambitious Psycho-Fraud who was looking to jump-start her career, and a woman who had a history of sever mental problems, and was just after the incident diagnosed with severe paranoid schizophrenia.
Personally, I tend to view the whole thing through the eyes of Calvin and Hobbes- Hobbes: "Do you believe in God?" Calvin: "Well, I know that someone is out to get me..."

... Wat?! ... What was Rowling writing about? ... Oh, I guess a young man/woman fighting off a dark wizard, and expand the simple master, with a full-on magic school and stuff?
H.P. Lovecraft and J.K. Rowling aren't the only authors who have attempted to tell real life stories through the medium of heavily dramatized fiction.
