    • I don't think we've seen anything that was definitely related. But with so many other odd things happening around Whateley, it's impossible to say for certain that we haven't seen its effects.

    • While I, too, doubt it is anything we've specifically seen, one possibility is that it was the Leanan Sidhe, and that rather than being created or summoned by Nikki's curse, the curse opened a window for it to pounce.

    It seems unlikely that Aunghadhail wouldn't have noticed it lurking around all that time, though.

    Maybe not, but there may be additional information on the cave and its "occupants", dating to Oct. 16-17, 2006 (The Three Little Witches)

    She-Beast made a dismissive noise. “PLEASE! Those three? D’you honestly think that they wouldn’t find out about Devil’s Cave? Linds, that cave is serious bad news. They’ll take you out there your sophomore year in a field trip, so you can get a good idea as to what sort of nastiness is really out there. Believe me, when we went there, Kate here was scared snotless.”


    Some time later, as we sneak around the Bat Cave:

    What no one realized was that Clover’s stroke of bad luck was to ask a sticky technical question that was ultimately irrelevant at the precise moment that Abra was halfway through inscribing a very important character. Abra went on to complete the diagram, thinking that she’d completed the character. That would be a problem later.


    It may be that in the rush of events, the grown-ups forgot to clean up Abracadabra's diagram on the stone in front of Devil's Cave (which Hecate would have known about from her sophomore class trip). But there seem to be so many places of fell power on-campus, that the cave that The Don, Chaka, and Fey visited may be a different one. Either way, whatever Mythos-haunted thing crawled out, I think it would be nastier than just a Leannan Sidhe.
