  • Odds and Ends is set ~2 months since the end of The Real MCO.

I wonder how the MCO's doing? They need someone to help translate their proto-Sumerian. Kodiak, Wakan Tanka, and Grizzly might be able to?

    The Olympians are too young?

Who, other than the MCO, knows about their need to find a proto-Sumerian translator, and could help/hinder the MCO?

    Speculation is expected!

    EDIT:

Might Absinthe bring the Zulu subplot into Whateley, due to his connections with the MCO??

  • Translating proto-Sumerian? Surely Google Translate covers that!! (although depending on its accuracy could lead to..unfortunate...results)

I love watching their innocent little faces smiling happily as they trip gaily down the garden path, before finding the pit with the rusty spikes.

  • Speaking of Translators... Apparently Traduce has "a clairvoyant gift with translating languages"...

Considering that Ace's psychometry is a variant of clairvoyance: if it's been recorded, she may be able to understand it? It would be interesting if she followed up her Whateley education with a doctorate in archaeology.

  • Although, with her temperament, she would have problems doing field work... basically, she would manage to get expelled from every single country she applied for a dig.

Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.
