Question Galaxy

In the story "May your death by Sweet" they refer to what I think is the female member of the Amazing Three as Galaxy... except Galaxy is a student, isn't she? Miyet's roommate? Or do they actually mean Galaxy, as in Miyet's roommate, is somehow the other backup babysitter for the Amazing Three when Jade's not available?

Yeah, that IS a bit of a source of confusion... I suppose that Alisha won't be able to register "Galaxy" as her permanent codename.
Hmm... I thought of almost a dozen names appropriate to her appearance, but ALL of them have significant problems. Like calling herself "Nut", after the Egyptian night goddess... with would be a terrible idea. Other discarded ideas: Nyx, Nox, Via Lactea, Messier (as in "Messier objects"), Nótt... I guess Alisha will have to ask Ayla for codename consultation.

Actually, if it's just Galaxy, and given her appearance and that stuff about specific likeness, she's probably very easily distinguished from Galaxy Girl visually, which means maybe she CAN keep it.

I've always wondered what her powers are. We really don't know, but I had a few guesses.

Her appearance could be a result of GSD (the exemplar kind) or it could be that she has a PK shell like Mirror that has a specific appearance, but she can't shut it off, at least at the moment. I was planning the latter for a fanfic involving her. She's a fairly low PK, a 3 about 6-8 hundred pounds, maybe some kind of warper tricks?

However, all we really know about her was that she's really nice and miyet's roommate, and where she's from and her name and appearance. We'd have learned more from more miyet stories, but ah well. I think she's a pretty interesting character design though, lots of fun could have been had with that.

Galaxy does have a type of GSD, given that she looks like someone shoved the Universe into human form. Sadly her powers are no where near that epic. she is an Exemplar, has flight, can do just fine in Vacuum, some PK, some Warper, and can to a trick she calls a "perspective shift," which is a mental attack that makes you experience your own life in relation to everything. Neat stuff, but mostly midrange stuff. She also grew up wanting to be an Astronaut.

That's actually surprisingly close to my own guesses as to her powers. I was going a touch Gurren Lagann with them out of a desire to put my own spin on them... As in, she could do a drill that literally warped reality around itself...

Perspective Shift is awesome as a power.
Just think of using it on someone unpleasant and showing him/her that if they died they'd make the world a better place overall.

And the best part, it isn't really an attack so some Psi defenses won't trigger.

That power just became 10x cooler.
