Question Ferrous bovines

The first one is said to be a mutant based in the San Francisco Bay area, and a member of the Golden Gate Guardians. He wasn't actually seen, but he was mentioned once in Loose Cannons, which takes place around March 2007.
The second one is a member of the Magnificent Five and derives his superstrength from a power harness. He was seen in "The Final Trump", which takes place sometime before the Fall 2007 school term. I don't think the exact place where the story happens was spelled out, but I seem to recall that the consensus of the readers was that it was somewhere in the Northeast of the U.S..
Both are Bek stories.
My No-Prize application goes as this: the G3 member has a codename vaguely similar to "Iron Ox" (Steel Bull or something), but he's not nearly as famous as his Magnificent Five counterpart, so Roxie ended up confusing then.

"He is an oxymoron!"
"Oxymoron?"
"Yep he is an OX and a moron!"
I don't recall his real name, but what ever it was it's just as stupid!

Ok, I was trying to go for a joke about magnetic polarity but I couldn't get it to come out right.
Anyway they could be actually named something like Iron Ox + and Iron Ox - and be brothers. If the mutant population keeps increasing having these little details would be useful. Though they will probably have to add random numbers to there names like internet handals.

IIRC, they did inherit the synthetics allergy, although I don't recall if they also were hit with the cold iron one, otherwise, I'd recommend carbon nanofibre-reinforced epoxy resin. (There are natural polymeric resins, so YMMV)

But, even if you leave synthetic fibers out, there are ceramics, aluminium alloys, titanium alloys... not to mention that you can simply put your kevlar pads inside a natural fiber (cotton/linen/wool) sleeve, and wear a cotton t-shirt underneath.

Yeah, 'cause if anyone can perfect spiders from which you can harvest more than a strand of silk, it will be Jobe, if that is what he sets his mind to!

When I read that harvesting spider silk I mentally saw this scene from get smart 2008
Lloyd: Not just pocket knife. Swiss Army knife. It comes with tweezers, pliers, tiny magnifying glass...
Bruce: Fish scaler, a saw, a flamethrower, chisel, a wire-crimping tool.
Lloyd: We also added a crossbow that fires harpoons connected to 60 ft of spider silk nanothread. It has the strength of steel cable.
Bruce: It's a time-consuming, labor-intensive technology.
Lloyd: Spiders have to be individually milked.
Bruce: And they do not like it.
Lloyd: No, they don't.

We did not skip it--poor Bova got caught on the 'cow catcher' on this train of thought and is now along for the ride into the twilight zone as the final destination
enjoy the trip!

Bovine-ish. Not quite Elsie, but getting there.

So... did Freigh Train pick up Bova in her cow-catcher?

I have just noticed that, in The Final Trump, the ferrous bovine hero has been called "Iron Bull" a couple times. Granted, it's just 2 occurrences of "Bull" against 41 occurrences of "Ox"... but it gives us a way to weasel out of it. We can assume that "Iron Ox" is a somewhat-disparaging nickname the Harrows use for Iron Bull (an ox is castrated, a bull is "whole").
Bek? Are you OK with that explanation? Do I get a No-Prize?
