Only the Main Branch of Goodkinds get the MGC screenings, right?
So, the Good-Time Goodkinds / Maine Branch could be low-level exemplars with Hercules Syndrome, making them "extra slutty and crazy"?
Wild Guess, though. just throwing it out there.
...
No, wait, Puppet was said to be have been screened? Well, they do have the money, to screen every Goodkind, don't they...
From Parent's Day:
Hmm... So, possibly the Good-Times didn't get screened... Possibly.

From Parent's Day:
I know her dad did the same screening for the meta-gene complex that Mother and Father did.

Good for a wacky non-canon Micro-Scene, at least. If you go for serious contribution to the canon, you would have to flesh out the relationship of the Maine Branch with the main Goodkind branch, and whether the Maine branch is as militant in the mutant menace as the main branch, and why did they skip on the screening despite the Really Rich Cousins putting on the pressure for them to do it...
Don't call me "Shirley." You will surely make me surly.

There's nothing much more to it than a simple family feud among cousins where Bruce's branch won out over the Maine branch would explain everything: they got cut off from the family after the feud, with the Good Time Goodkinds having to fend for themselves off of the billions that they inherited from Great Grandpa Goodkind. IF they aren't receiving anything from the family fortune and aren't involved with the conglomerate, then they wouldn't be obligated in any way to be tested or have their kids tested...

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

Sorry...reading Puppet's first appearances and then reading the outcome of a local rich family feud got me thinking of this thread...

Nothing to apologize for. Actually just having a chuckle about the way things work out. You'll see.
