    • How does Online / Away / Offline work?

    'Cause I'm seeing some people that last logged in days ago, but are listed as Away...

    • I've answered this one before... as far as I know, it doesn't. Work properly, that is. The site is also supposed to log you out for inactivity of more than a set value... and it doesn't do that with everyone either. In theory, it would show as Online when you are logged in and registered as still actively using the site. You would be Away when you are logged in, but your last request for a site resource was greater than a certain amount of time... and Offline would be logged out. Either due to timeout or manual log out.


    But... it's never worked right and neither has the timeout stuff.
