  • Notice for Patreon Patrons: Patreon has moved.

Important heads-up to those who are supporting folks on Patreon:

Your pledges may not have gone through. Patreon moved the address that accepts them across the Atlantic without telling anyone, and banks' automatic fraud detection systems are throwing a fit.

Check your inbox and/or junk folder for an email from Patreon with the subject line "(username), we ran into a an issue trying to process your pledge on Patreon", or just go to your payment settings.

Rejiggering it a little should do the trick; I just had to switch it over to Paypal.

Just re-enter your payment info or switch cards and it should work.

  • I didn't see any errors come up with this months credit cycle... ie... everyone who is pledged is showing a cleared payment / no declines. Doesn't mean it isn't affecting people elsewhere, but it doesn't appear to affect anyone here in their support of the site.

Fate guard you and grant you a Light to brighten your Way.

  • Mine did go through, I think.

Unfortunately, however, I will probably end up dropping the donations after this past month anyway, at least for a while, as my money issues have gotten less favorable than I expected. I can only hope that this would be temporary, if so.

    Out, damnéd Spot! Bad Doggy!

  • Well that explains the insistent SMS spam my bank was sending me requiring me to respond acknowledgement that the payment was legitimate.
