Question Possibility of searching for words inside stories that are under certain tags?

That level of search index is doable... but its far more demanding of resources than what the current search engine is allowed. This is one of those sorts of things that explains why we can function on $300-ish a month donations and BCTS requires $3-5k. We had the SE on at that level when we first started out... but about the point where we'd managed to add about 70% of the content, the search engine indexing started failing on article saves, preventing us from adding any new stories.

Are there ways to do it that wouldn't put all the work on the server and thus keep it cheap? Ya, we could manually tag things on multiple levels... for example, we could have three levels of tags for names - one that tags a story by the name and codename of its protagonist, one that tags a story with the name and codenames of any supporting character, and one that tags a story with any mention/cameo of every character. We could also put in cross-story reference tags, story arc tags, and all sorts of other things. But that takes someone's time.... and while its not hard work, its tedious as hell.

If you have suggestions on how to handle it, I'm open to listening. But this isn't something I personally have time to work on, nor is it something that I see more than a handful of people using, which makes the cost of putting it in play less bang for our buck.
