    Just in-case of double-posting... It's thankfully rarely needed?

    ... 'Cause you can delete your own single-post-threads, if you're the first and only poster.

    Not sure deletion is possible on multi-post-threads, that you're still "Sole Poster" on. And I can't check. I'm not running a fic. *shrugs*

    • Short answer - No.

    Explanation - We're not going to punish anyone for accidently double posting... though if it happens ALL the time, we are going to give you a hard time for trying to run up post count. If the second post bothers you that much, edit it to give an apology for the duplicate post. Or ask for an admin to delete it. Please don't use REPORT to do this. REPORT sends me an alert email... and a double post is not a 'oh shit, somethings wrong with the site' level of priority for me.

    Besides, deletion by anyone other than an admin doesn't actually remove the post or thread from the forums, it just hides it from anyone without authority to see it. And I'd rather not have people get into the habit of writing abrasive posts and then deleting them thinking no one saw what they said. Because mods and admins will.
