  • For the fanfiction authors, when you start a thread for Feedback, Critique, etc. could you add that to the title? I go to the website and see two identically named threads, and then wonder which is which.

    I know, right?

The problem is that titles get so long that adding a word can't be done... Or requires cutting out some of the title, which looks even weirder?

If Archangel can get this for a thread title

RE: A Darklight Burning Brightly, Feedback please

I think that adding a single word would be possible for most titles (Unless you plan on some of the chapter titles that Elrod and Diane used.)

  • Why don't you pick out a specific icon to use for story posts and a second icon type for feedback threads... then you can tell the difference from the icon without having to add the words to the subject line?

If two appropriate icons don't exist, maybe I can 'art' something up and install it for that purpose.

  • Hm.... Looking at the currently available options, I think we should use the heart symbol for all feedback threads. It seems appropriate, don't you think?

  • Be still my beating heart. :)

Many people hear voices when no-one is there.
Some are called 'mad' and shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day.
Others are called 'writers' and they do pretty much the same thing.

  • Put an arrow thru it. The pain, the pain. :pinch:

Edit: That was a joke son. Can't you take a joke? Stop with the arrows already.

  • Is there a way to change the icon for an ongoing thread, or is that option available only at the moment the thread is created?

EDIT: found it. It's just a matter of editing the first message.
