I tried uploading it to DA and got an "error uploading file: unable to create or update stash item" message. Some Googling only revealed a lot of discussion from 2015 when DA apparently had some sort of issue. Maybe it's temporary, I'll try again tomorrow. Or maybe they are rejecting executable files (which would be understandable, they wouldn't want to become a source of viruses or other malicious stuff), but giving cryptic messages instead of straightforward rejections.

Put it in a Zip and upload that.

It's a Zip. It couldn't be an .exe anyway, because it's comprised of a bunch of different files, including a Python runtime.
It's possible that DA is detecting the executable code inside and rejecting it. If so, I might have to repack it in an encrypted .rar or .7z...

Slightly related: I still have everything I downloaded from the old Crystal Hall over the years. I didn't grab much of the fan fiction, but do have a couple of gems. But there was a lot of stuff I made copies of which have somehow survived multiple hard drive crashes, etc.

So if there is anything from back then someone is having a hard time finding, contacting me is an option to see what I might have.
