Question A little help please.

To get to the point, in the last few days i couldn't access the old site where i was reading first gen stories.
The site, and wiki also just doesn't seem to load. Whether this is due to all the hard work good people have been doing to make the new site as good as it is, or not, i don't know.
The problem however, is that when i started to read canon stories here on new site i noticed that they run in a bit different order than on the old site, now this doesn't really bother me but i also noticed that at least one or more chapters concerning -Merry- and -Sara- seem to be missing.
I don't know if this is because the original canon is still being transferred here, or if the read order will be different than before.
But the thing is, i am scared as hell that im going to miss something important, since i really got into the story. And i really, really want to read everything.
So if someone has a answer please respond. I just don't want to miss anything.

Hmm... Can you point out which chapters you're talking about, and then we should be able to point you to the correct article if it exists.

I can say with a fair degree of certainty that the issue you're running into is most likely just that we haven't finished moving all of the canon material over here yet. As I understand it we're well past half-way done, but we've still got a ways to go before it's completely wrapped up.

As far as giving you specific advise for how to move forward with your reading for now so that you don't miss anything...you'll need to be a bit more specific about where your are in the stories at the moment. Once we know that more clearly it will be easier to help you out.

To lay to rest fears:

1) It is intended that eventually this site will have all the canon stories, it's just time consuming to transfer them. We've transfered over 200 posts already and there is about 70 more to do. Yes, a lot of the Sara / Paige / Petra posts have not yet been transfered, we have been doing it mostly Author by Author and have not gotten to that author yet.

2) The old site server is down, the server is maintained by a different group (the "Big Closet" story site admins) so when it will be returned to working is something we don't know (the frailty of the old site server is partially why Kristin setup this new site for Whateley)

3) As we are still transferring stories, the only real "sorting" this site has at the moment is the sorting built into the list, which is basically sorting by posting date, Author, title, etc. If you want the "reader list" (which was basically just sorting by internal dates in the stories) you can use the Wiki list. The Wiki list is updated manually to link to this site once the stories are transfered over.

And, as I mentioned in another thread, it should be possible to find the missing stories in the Internet Archive.

and some of us probably have ALL of them in .doc form so I can read them on my tablet. So if you can't find one, ask, because I probably have it.

I don't have any problems with waiting until its all sorted out but i was just scared that i wont get to read some of the chapters.
As for now i will be satisfied enough reading what i have here. I will just read anything i miss later on when it gets transferred.
So thank you all for the information, it really puts my mind at ease.

Ohh yea. Just to answer the question.
I don't remember all of the names of the missing chapters but im fairly sure that "insanity prerequisites" part 1 and 2 are both missing, and probably "being merry" i don't know what parts really. I did however read those already so no problem there, but seeing them absent made me a bit paranoid.
Hearing that everything will be put back together just made my day.
