    What do you want a Q & A section to yield? We had a LOT of categories that just weren't used effectively on the old forums. Duplicate threads in multiple places... a question for the authors turned into a debate about how a scene would play out if only X were the way a power worked instead of Y. I see a lot of the questions about characters or released stories as being discussed in the Review/speculation threads. More specific details, I think would play out in the fan fic forums...

    But maybe we 'need' a Q & A section?

    • If I might suggest that if a Q&A is required than a pre-formatted one that already answers the most obvious questions be uploaded, pinned and placed in the Public Announcements sections. Then have the section locked and if need be revised as needed.

    • My plan is to turn most information dumps into articles to post in the WA Universe section. Eventually, someone might decide there's enough there to get really crazy and we'll create a formal universe sourcebook. Maybe even tie it into a specific RPG system, but we can do sourcebook even without tying it to game mechanics.

    • I suppose one possible initial approach could be to determine if there are particular themes / topics that tend to be frequently asked, and have an outline FAQ signposting people to the most appropriate location: some questions could be answered by signposting to the wiki (e.g. who's <Character>?, who appeared in <story>?), some via the users (e.g. when did <event> happen?), some via the canon authors and some by something to the effect of "SPOILERS!" (i.e. it will be revealed in canon... eventually - have patience, young padawan).
    As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!

    I'm quite sure someone with a large case of fire retardant will quash such an act before it gets out of control or started.

( seems Kirstin missed the ANTI for ANY on the any-flame chemicals in the typo thread. )
