But soon enough 'division' would set in and 'subtract' from their numbers, but there is a 'plus'. They can make up separate 'fractions' to survive the 'decimation' and that would 'square' things right up to better 'equal' out?

Maybe an old rust bucket full of misplaced Founders and a pack of Talosians in the brig (no language barriers).

Is your Space Elf the first escapee?
----
Or business people, hiring your Space Elves, to expand their business or something??
----
Has there been secret human contact between chocolate suppliers and aliens, and it's kept on the down low, in the DPA, and we just haven't heard about it, since it's not mutant-relevant?

They pass as human by latching onto each other and forming into a humanoid shape inside of a trench coat and a full-head mask. The mask does not need to be lifelike, as people will just assume it's a weird human or a mutant, not an alien. If masks are not readily available for some reason, a paper bag will suffice.

Another option? Go straight for a Sidhe splinter society who opposed Aung. There's already a lot of Tenchi Muyo references in the WU, why not have aliens that are the basis for the fictional Juraians? The connection could be shown to be pretty clear, including a still-living World Tree on one or more of their ships. And with the Sundering messing with the timelines, who's to say when they left? Perhaps they were dissatisfied with her at any time before or even during The Bastard's assault on the Court.
edit: double post, not sure how that happened.

No, more like Romulans. Still firming the backstory, but they where off world when the Sundering happened and didn't see the point of going back to see what happened.lighttech wrote:

-pauses in thought- hm the Romulan comment I just made has my Muse scribbling ideas... maybe it's a generational ship they send out and that's what gets hit by pirates...

This is how I might swing it??
the whole group is stranded and see that ripping away magic or essence has killed their race, so over the next few millennia, they developed a full blow TECH replacement for that 'essence' and never look back. In fact magic is banned, shunned and looked down upon by all of the new 'space elves'
this tech can be a full tech device or some sort of Bio replacement/ Nano tech???

Hmm... the anti-magic might work well as I was thinking that the pirates are 'devolved' sidhe in the form of ords and goblins of the Tolkien vein.

well you do have those
the others would be some sort of water or 'sea elf' along the lines of merelves?
others would be 'Air' so I guess either more 'sir' tryp magic or wings?
then you can use more earthy...like stone?
of you can go full dark and use a variation of the Drow and over dark Fae?

I prefer D&D/Pathfinder orcs and goblins to Tolkien's Always Chaotic Evil races.
Orcs/Orks/Trolls can be "earthy"
Pathfinder Orc: Not inherently stupid and culture-less.
Shadowrun Ork: Ready for nearly anything
Shadowrun Trolls: The Tank That Shoots Back

Orcs, Trolls, Dwarfs, Elves, faerie races, shifters: IMO, once one ditches the "Forever Dark Ages" perspective of Norse myth, SR's Sixth World maps easily to Svartalfheim.
The goblins in the Advanced Race Guide depicts goblins as omnivorous pyromaniacs. Fun times for all!

A dark-skinned elf could be a Northern Court representative. Dark =/= evil, and Air =/= Nice
Changelings (half-human, half-hag, because what did we think would happen after the guys were seduced?) were interesting. Sea hags and their likely children could be an Eastern Court thing if you don't want to worry about how water-breathers should fare in space with the air breathers, and aren't into the whole "Innsmouth Look" deal.

The problem here is that the alien race apparently intended by Starwolf as the creators of The Scourge - the Isokist, who are discussed in "Tennyo's Easter", parts one and four - are much, much older than the Sidhe, or indeed the Earth itself. Also, all the evidence is that most of the Isokist left this dimension entirely around the time The Scourge was created, fleeing from their disastrous creation of the Gateway into the Outer Darkness and the resulting flood of Great Old Ones into this universe, eight billion years ago. It is not clear how many Isokist survived this, and if any still exist in this universe in the Whateley era.
We do know that at least on other creation of theirs survives - the starship which Tennyo rescued and rename Yukinojo in that same story, which was the last one Starwolf published here (there's a possibility that SW will come back, but AFAICT it is really unlikely, as real life has intervened in their plans; also, not that parts 2 and 3 don't discuss the Isokist, but you may need to read them to make sense of part 4).
This isn't to say there aren't ways to make this work. We know that the Sidhe and other Five-Fold Court members has interstellar gateways and starcraft, and that at least one Sidhe colony in another star system was established in the wake of the Sundering (based on parts one , two , and three of E.E. Nalley's "The Kodiak Conspiracy"). One could flip this script and say that the Sidhe themselves are descendants of the Isokists, rather than natives of Earth as such, which could explain (among other things) why some of the other terrestrial powers of their time seem to resent them even before the Sundering (especially the Dragons of the Eastern Court, and even more so, the Kami of Japan, who don't seem to have been part of the FFC at all).
Note that it was stated by Yuki that Tennyo appears exactly like an Isokist, at least on the surface.
EDIT Fucking link limits...

Aww, but the My Little Pirates were great! It was one of the best series of micros ever!
For anyone who doesn't know what the Hell we're talking about, the original stories started here and were posted over the next three pages of micros.
Parts two and three were back-to-back and had both the Terrestrial and Extraterrestrial perspectives on the raiders, four has our would-be Defender of Earth getting a bit wrapped up in the problem, and five has an MCO idiot doing something quite rash, as well as giving us our first look at the Mysterious Box of Space Elf Babe.
