  • I believe I’ve read all the canon stories in first and second gen. I wandered in here looking for Morpheus stories once upon a time. Then I fanned out to Outcast Corner, then I just read everything in publishing order.

I’d love to thank all the authors for their hard work, both current and past.

Phase was my favorite for a long time but I pretty much like it all.

I guess I know where I’ll browse each Monday from now on. :)

  • Woot! :)

We should put out a certificate of achievement that can be awarded to anyone who managed to read "all the things". It really is an accomplishment when you consider the pace and amount of reading most people do.. I went looking for some sort of 'measure' of how many books read per month people would consider a 'voracious' reader. But turns out... most comparisons and studies didn't even count by month... but by year... and their top categories barely broke into the teens. At THOSE rates, the canon collection would take over ten years to read, even if you didn't touch the Library and the WhatIF or Forum published stuff. And you should, if you haven't... because there's lots of good stuff there, too. .

I can't even imagine stumbling onto Whateley now, reading at that pace and realizing that I'd have to spend the next ten years working to catch up. :) Fortunately, I read much, much faster than that.

But ya... maybe we should make something for people who have read it all. *ponders*

Fate guard you and grant you a Light to brighten your Way.

  • I must be a super voracious reader, my usual rate is around 100,000 words a week even when I am working pretty regularly. When I'm not working? 100,000 words a day...!

  • Well, if you'd ever like to look over some non-Whateley stuff, I've got plenty in need of a critical eye and suggestions.

  • I’ve decided to tackle the WhatIF section next. I’m willing to read other suggestions too
