    • Hello to this forum! I stumbled across the Whateley stories just a week or two ago and am working my way through them starting with the first generation. I am loving the abundance of gentle lesfic and trans / genderswap stories. sigh It's easy to get a bit jealous though. (Jade, even though you are axe crazy, I know how you feel.)

    Also I have a severe crush on Sara. (Is it bad that I think her tentacles are cute and want to pet them?) It sounds like in later stories she gets trapped. Somebody please rescue her!

    • Welcome. Sorry bout the delay in approving your registration to the site... my last couple weeks of work have been... more than a little insane.

    I personally recommend reading all the things. But I understand that's a bit of a mountain to climb. On the positive side, though, if you get to a point where you need to switch it up and read some non-Whateley stuff... there's the Library section which has a decent sized pile of non-Whateley stories by our various authors. Some great SWTOR fanfic by E.E. ... several authors have taken a hand at cyberpunk/shadowrun stories. And some straight up sci-fi and fantasy (non-fanfic) pieces as well.

    • Thank you both. I plan to read everything eventually but right now I am grazing a bit - putting off the inevitable day when I reach the leading edge of the wave of story creation. That's definitely one of the downsides of being a fast reader, catching up to all your favourite authors. :-/

    Kristin, it's no problem. I definitely understand work going a bit nightmarish.
