Question Slightly Less Triumphant Return

Um, heya...I seriously doubt anyone who was active when I was last here is still here, since it was almost ten years ago, but if any of you are, I was writing the Fan Forum serials "Umbra," "Polymer," and "Maisy Gets Schooled." I wish I could say my time away has been happy and productive, but...well, anyway, it took me a long time to find my way back here, so I'm just trying to get caught up with what's happened since then before I dip my toes back into writing again.

How did you find your way back? How can we make it easier for others?

Oh, I didn't mean for finding the place in a location sense, although I admit the last time I checked here a few years ago things were in a bit of a flux state. I meant more in terms of, I dunno, spiritually? I didn't wanna bog down my "Heya, I'm back!" post with going full Eeyore on people...LOL

I've been looking for a place to post some of my writings, and since they have some themes in common with the Whateleyverse I thought I might see if I could rebuild my audience here again.

Well, IIRC, nothing's preventing you from using the Fab Labs to do non-Whateley things...

One other question: is there a "newbie" Q&A thread somewhere? I haven't participated since Team Kimba's heyday, so I was wondering what's changed for the new canon (like, is Poe still a big secret?)

On Poe, the short answer is yes, but for Gen 2 (about 10yrs after Gen 1) there's a question if it will remain so, as there are more in the belief that at that point it has started to do more harm than good
