We mentioned last week that JG had made a visit. We're happy to announce that it was far more than just a quick stop in and he's been hanging out in chat with the authors all week getting caught up on who is going what, which characters are likely to interact with his stories and generally getting a feel for where the universe has gone in his absence. I'm sure I'm not alone in being grateful for his return... especially since he's already contributed to the continuation of his existing plot lines: here is the conclusion of the Artificer arc: "Ashes and Steel" ... which has been one of the most requested 'but what happened to' moments in our universe's history. Given the plans flying fast and furious on IRC last night, I wouldn't be surprised to see more from JG soon.

So, again, welcome back JG!

As we welcome back JG let me please use this as a segue to express my feelings about a great Canon Cabal
author who has worked with JG but is absent of late due to medical issues.

I really tried to find someplace I could give my best wishes and hopes and prayers to E.E. but everything was "you can not reply". I'm sure I wasn't doing something right. But I needed to say that E. E. has given me so many hours of pleasure as an author and when I hear he is hurting it makes me want to cry.

My fond wish would be for E. E. 's safety comfort and happiness and a full recovery. I want so much to let him know that he made a difference in my life by making me happy.

*Sniff, sniff!* Thank you, that was very heartfelt. And while I'm nowhere near hundred percent, I'm not nearly as bad as I could be. As one of the doctor said that I should be, "in screaming agony" the fact that I'm not I take is a blessing.

And while I am frustrated with the delays in the surgery that I'm promised to get all of the use of my body back afterwards, there are a lot of people have a lot worse than I and since it is Thanksgiving I am thankful for that.
