  • I could have sworn somewhere in Silent Nacht it said that Dr M used to have at least two other monster types (Gremlin?) he could make, but he phased them out or stopped using them for some reason, but I can't seem to find the reference.

Did that come up in a discussion thread on the old forums, am I just missing the part in my skim through, or just delusional?

Stormy and Nacht talking, Chapter 5:

"As for the monster kids, besides the Witches, there are teams of Vampires, Werewolves, Werecats and Ghouls. That's IT. Tcherlavski, one of the tech goons, mentioned something about 'trolls' and 'goblins', but Cobb's left them behind or phased them out for some reason.

It's inconclusive if Nacht yanked the spirits out of all of them some how, but eventually the spirits are ejected from the victim's body.

    Or so we believe....

  • How long has the doc been up to his shenanigans?
And what after effects, besides the mental ones might his play things experience?

Well, most of them show a decided aversion to the song 'the Monster Mash'

The answer, Crypto, is agonizingly simple: it was a Goblin spirit, one of those nasty little darkling semi-anthropoid spooks that haunt the corners in almost every culture.

Kind of. It was the spirit of a cricket bat.

  • After having some time to think I have a theory regarding the Goblin phase out: the spirits going into them where his hobgoblins, so as his process got better they where created less and less likely they had no real standardization either, anouther reason he'd want them phased out..
