  • Strange coincidences...

    Mainly with the Tanakas.

Like, how likely is it that Jessica, goes to the same school as the boy who would become the reincarnation of Aunghadhail?

... And that the reincarnation of Aunghadhail would be the son / daughter of the Deputy Director of DARPA?

Or that the Wilsons knew the Tanakas?

... Mrs. Potter... She's behind everything !!! ...

There are other precogs, and how many kids do you think the Tanakas had? They've been around for a century+... Who says Jessie's mom isn't a precog?

  • When in doubt, blame Jinx, even if she wasn't around yet.

side note... where HAS Mrs. Potter disappeared to?

  • You think that is a strange coincidence? I'm still waiting for Stacy (sister to Wyatt and Cody Conners) to come to Whateley and meet Mr. Wyatt Cody.

Huh. Wyatt and Cody are 2 and 4 in 2006. That means that they could conceivably be in the G2 Whateley junior high program...

We're getting closer and closer to The Great Blank Spot. She's probably alternating between pulling her hair out leaving cryptic notes everywhere, and trying to commit suicide by comfort food.

  • It's possible that Mrs. Potter will be killed by the shock of hitting the Blank Spot. She is rather old, after all.

OTOH, if she dies before that, she should be able to predict her own death to the minute. Which might be very disconcerting for everybody close to her, since she could do things like hiring the caterers for the wake in advance.

And the male one is named David... We don't know if he has any powers, hopefully regeneration :-p , but the female one has healing magic.

A sword made out of student Jade would be insanely awesome.

    And messy.

But a whole lot of awesome.

  • Jade casting herself into something that eldritch created opens up a big ball of wax. For one thing could she make a container/object that could hold a casting for a long period of time? Presumably if it had some means of absorbing Essence?

That could get nasty if she was in a weapon that required blood to remain sentient.

But maybe Jade and Eldritch could team up along with the Mithril and the other one who's name I have forgotten, to create self aware artifacts.

Jade has this whole thing about being in service, providing it was for a particular person she'd be willing.

"What have you got there, Gronk?"

    "A magic sword, it's sce..sci...it talks too."

"Really?! Those are rare! Does it make you stronger? Tougher?"

    "No, I think it's cursed."

"Cursed? Why do you say that?

  • Not chaos, imbalance. Chaos IS part of the balance -- it has to be balanced with Order.
