That is a cool site, but "Sentinel Services" sounds like the DOD contracted some company to do this for them, like how the military uses Boeing for its air warcraft...
And they're allowed to use the DMA's seal... Are there any other companies like this?

There are, don't know their codenames though. If you go on Youtube and search around for it you can find the trailers. Looks awesome.Malady wrote: I got Blink, Eclipse, and Polaris. Are there any others?

And they decided that giant purple humanoid robots weren't really suitable for tv, so Sentinals is now the name of the mutant control organization, and they use smaller, scarier looking robots. You can get a brief look at them in the trailers.

The Jaeger are potentially the most powerful war machines on the planet. So the corporation that builds them has a chance to step in and take control of a shattered world. And a little propaganda to make them the heros will help them along.

And yeah, if you have a bunch of giant robots but no kaiju to fight, the obvious next step is to either start a war or create a new sport. Or both.

I remember one big one:
Raleigh Becket: Not all of them are, Marshal. Gipsy’s analog is nuclear.
The clockwork Jaeger.

They Scienced the shit out of it... because...SCIENCE!!!
So it didn't have to make sense...
But... Clockwork Jaegers... they should do a prequel set in victorian times when the first monsters REALLY started appearing... because... Michael Bay. Yeah... if they get him to direct it then past history doesn't matter because he lacks object permanence
