    • Howdy! Name's Jenny. Or Deneb, sometimes.

    I've been a visitor to the Crystal Hall for years now at the very least. I did try registering once... about a week and a half before the Great Crash. Since then, work and stuff has kept me busy that I didn't think about this site until a little while ago. I went back and reread all the old stories, and figured I might as well have a go at registering and maybe throw some of my own stuff out there.

    I'm 23 years old. I've had five years and six months on active duty in the US Navy; I'm on submarines. I'm from Texas originally, and am stationed on the East Coast. I like swords, vaporwave, prognostication, list based humour, puns, witches, most cats and certain specific plants. I love talking about any and all of those things pretty much all the time! So ask me anything.

    The star, as it turns out. I found out the connotative, associative and referencial meanings later.

    Carnivorous ones tend to be excellent albeit somewhat higher maintainance than I like. Cacti are good, as is anything that can reproduce from a cutting. I enjoy pirating plants. Yo ho.

    • Ah... subs. I was sub-vol once upon a time. And then, after freaking the hell out about getting trapped down in the bilges while at nuke prototype school; I talked to a counselor and got my vol revoked... which resulted in me spending my time on a carrier, instead.
